Party Time : Alexis's Birthday Party

P4120317

P4120292

I attended Alexis's birthday party just now. We had this whole drama-like planning earlier this year, but due to unforeseen reasons, we were all caught up with our own commitments.; so the party was finalized and planned into place at the last minute. I did not help much on planning her birthday party. Natasha helped Alexis more to make the party a blast. Anyway, Alexis invited a few of my friends (they know each other as they go for clubbing together etc) for the party as well. My brother was invited too. So it was pretty much a familiar crowd at her party. She invited her KDU-mates as well, who happen to be familiar to me. The only people I had problems 'connecting' was her other clubbing pals. But that did not matter much because I had the rest of the invitees to talk to. I can say I had a good fun laughing my ass off the night to jokes cracked by all of us.

We had drama photoshoots a little bit here and there; not many because we had to play host entertaining people too. (Natasha and I are quite close to Alexis, her birthday party is somewhat 'our' event too.

I had prior commitments today before the party. I had a few articles to submit on YouthMalaysia.com (although it is only due Tuesday, I'm leaving for Langkawi tomorrow hence the rush).

Natasha SOS-ed me via text message to show up at the earliest opportunity I got because not many of Alexis's friends turned up. Alexis planned it to start around 6.30pm/7pm but even at 8pm only a few of her KDU mates came. As soon as I got out of the shower I quickly got dressed and buzzed down to head for her party. My brother was late, so I told my friends to pick him up instead (they did just that later). Oh yes, the party was held in a hotel suite, Sandy Bay Paradise hotel to be exact - in Tanjung Bungah. It was earlier meant to be a beach party, but I don't know what happened. I guess they got freaked out of the unpredictable weather.P4120267

Around 8.30pm I reached the hotel. I got harassed in the lift by two young Caucasian girls, they went 'Hey cutie.' 'Isn't he cute?' At first I ignored thinking they were talking to someone else, but then I realised, I was the only one with them in the elevator. Worst still, their room was on the same floor with Alexis's suite. Crazy.

But anyway, I felt somehow hot after that. LOL. It was good being at the party. Natasha introduced me to Alexis's friends with much drama. I then proceeded to have some light snacks and drinks before gossiping with Alexis and Natasha. Well, people start coming after I came (What do you expect? I'm the star after all). So yes, the crowd started to build up and Alexis had to mingle with them. Natasha and I got to entertain the others as well. It was a fun bunch we clicked into. The guys were pretty much cam-whores as well. Welcome to the club mates!

Well I guess we just fooled around pretty much to kill time and then half of the crowd went down to take a stroll on the beach - and yes snapping photos too. At that time, I got quite bored already, so I made a few phone calls to some nice people to catch up. LOL. We walked on the beach and fooled around for quite a while before heading back upstairs to the suite. Then only we learnt that the others were coming down; but it was getting late so we just chilled in the room. The rest changed their minds too of going to the beach. Natasha had another party to attend as well that night, well more like an after-party. So her friend was supposed to pick her up from the hotel.P4120337 So, I waited for her friend to come before leaving but at the last minute there was a change of plan. People were starting to leave Alexis's birthday party as it was hitting midnight. Alexis wanted to follow Natasha as well, so they both thought it was best they drove up rather than having Natasha's friend pick them up. HENCE, I left with my bro when I got the updates. I came back home, and here I am scribbling this piece.

I've got a bag to pack. My flight to Langkawi  is at noon tomorrow. Hope I have fun! Will blog in again when I get back.

Mwahx!

Lots of love,
Riz F
